Tammy is the founder and driving force behind KingKira.
Tammy O’Connor is the Founder, Director and proud driving force behind KingKira. A Traditional Owner from the Pilbara region, Tammy has a strong ancestral connection to her Country through her Nyiyaparli and Palyku heritage, with additional family ties to the Kariyarra and Ngarluma peoples through her grandmother’s lineage.
Born and raised in Marble Bar, Tammy’s connection to community, culture and Country underpins both her personal and professional life. The name “KingKira” reflects her daughters, Kingston and Shakira, representing family at the heart of the business.

She actively supports and nurtures the local Aboriginal community and serves on various native title boards. Through her leadership, KingKira is grounded in cultural integrity, community empowerment and a commitment to creating meaningful pathways for Aboriginal engagement across industry.
