Kingkira Group Pty Ltd is a 100% Aboriginal female owned business providing integrated environmental support services to Resource, Government and Commercial sectors throughout Western Australia.

Kingkira’s ethos is about the land whereby we manage all aspects of the environment to ensure it remains sustainable for future generations. In parallel to support our vision, we endeavor to engage local people, contractors and suppliers to be part of our journey.

Tammy O’Connor

KKG is owned and operated by Tammy O’Connor, a traditional owner from the Pilbara region with family connection through the Nyiyaparli and Palyku Aboriginal groups, and links to Kariyarra and Ngarluma people on her grandmother’s side. The business name “Kingkira” represents Tammy daughter’s names Kingston and Shakira.

Having been brought up in the Pilbara region residing in Marble Bar, Tammy has a wealth of knowledge and insight of local community and native title, providing education and guidance to help communities and business achieve sustainable development. Tammy has studied at various institutions and worked remotely on mines sites and in communities to continually build her knowledge and skill set of business.

Our History

Established in early 2014, Kingkira has experienced organic growth through a simple strategic vison, to provide development opportunities for Aboriginal people, and in parallel manage all aspects of the land in which the business operates to maintain a sustainable future.
