KingKira Group Celebrates Successful Mechanical Shutdown for CSBP

KingKira celebrates with GSD the safe and quality Mechanical Completion on an Absorber Column upgrade during a recent CSBP Plant Shutdown in Kwinana.

KingKira was pleased to be engaged for the mechanical package of work by GSD. The project included the supply of equipment and labour across a 28 day shutdown duration, working night and dayshift, delivering Mechanical Supervision, Boilermakers and Mechanical Fitters to perform an upgrade to CSBP’s Absorber Column Internals.

KingKira’s Mechanical scope included plant rundown support, unpacking and staging of column internal structures, decontamination of pipe sections, positive atmospheric isolations, Hazardous material management, Confined Space works under Breathing Apparatus, removal and refitting of pipe spools, manway covers and column internals, QA/QC of flange management and positive pressure test resulting in Mechanical Completion and plant start up.
