KingKira Group Employee Jake Featon Acknowledged for Exceptional Commitment to Safety

At KingKira Group, Safety is our number one priority, we believe that everyone deserves to go home safe. The safety of ourselves, our team and of the communities in which we operate comes first, last and everything in between. It is at the heart of every decision made and everything we do.

It is important to us to acknowledge when members of the KingKira Group team show exceptional commitment to safety.
The KingKira Group Booms team and in particular KingKira Group Booms operator Jake Featon were recently recognized by KingKira Group Port Hedland Branch Operations Supervisor Callum Mountford for their outstanding efforts.

Callum noted that; “The Booms team have been in the PH yard for around 5+ day post cleaning equipment, set up of container and preparing for the next big shutdown…the effort by all the team to make these booms shine is second to none, they look like they have rolled off the showroom floor, not only the cleaning but the stock take of equipment and pre planning for the next job has been great to watch”

Callum also stated; “I have singled out Jake Featon for his efforts beyond expectations…Jake wanted to increase the responsibility of the spotter and uniform radio and hand signals so that there is no room for error, through some chats and a few calls/emails Jake is now putting together a VOC/training package for Booms spotting and vehicular movement spotting which will have a power point presentation to roll out to all work groups in KingKira Group.

Congratulations Jake and well done we appreciate your commitment to safety.
