KingKira Group was awarded the 2019 AEMEE National New Indigenous Business of the Year award at the AMEE Conference in Darwin. The award recognises a start up business (less than 3 years in operation) that has successfully introduced its services to the resources sector and can demonstrate the potential for significant and sustainable growth.

Having worked in the mining industry for a number of years, Tammy has capitalised on her experiences in other businesses to set up KingKira Group. She is also a passionate advocate for the training, development and mentoring of Aboriginal people starting their own businesses.
