Earlier this year, our team laid the foundations for a long-term vision, building an apprenticeship program that creates real pathways for young Indigenous talent.
In late November, our first apprentice Ryan began his journey with our maintenance team in Port Hedland.
Ryan is a proud Traditional Owner from the Pilbara, based in Perth, and will be working FIFO while completing his Heavy Diesel Mechanic Apprenticeship.
This program has taken a great deal of work to bring to life, and seeing Ryan on site for Day 1 is a moment we’re extremely proud of.
