Tammy is the founder, managing director and driving force behind KingKira Group. Growing up in Marble Bar, Tammy began her career in education and community support in remote communities before taking a job in the mining industry. Over the years she worked in various roles from operations through to management. When the opportunity arose to start her own waste management company, she leveraged her extensive contacts within the Aboriginal and local business communities and has since become a significant force for Aboriginal engagement in the region.
Tammy brings a wealth of expertise to her role as a director, marked by her strategic foresight, exemplary leadership, and unwavering dedication to her community. Her extensive background in the mining and waste management sectors has provided her with a deep understanding of both operational and managerial aspects. Tammy is adept at building strong partnerships, utilising her broad network within the Aboriginal and local business communities to give back to her community. Her proficiency in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and her commitment to sustainable practices ensure that KingKira Group consistently surpasses industry benchmarks.
